According to a report obtained by The Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH), a 25-year-old US rapper, Chynna Rogers has died of an apparent accidental drug overdose.
The Philadelphia -native was found motionless in her Philadelphia home but the cause of her death remained unknown at the time.
However, On Thursday, NBC news quoted James Garrow, a spokesman for the PDPH, to have said that the gifted rapper died from an accidental drug overdose.
The Philadelphia model-turned-rapper had signed with the agency Ford Models at age 14 after being discovered at the Six Flags Great Adventure park in New Jersey.
Chynna was said to have later teamed up with the A$AP Yams, a US producer, who died of a drug overdose after forming the hip-hop group A$AP Mob.
Her death comes months after Juice Wrld, another US rapper, died under the same circumstances.
