Over ten months ago, budding local radio presenters Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe announced their departure from recent entrant NRG Radio, to Radio Africa Group where they replaced morning show maestros Shaffie Weru and Adelle Onyango.
It was then reported that Adelle Onyango called it quits from the station, while her co-host Shaffie was away in the United States.
Following her sudden departure, whispers began doing rounds that they (her and Shaffie) had been fired by the station’s boss Patrick Quarcoo.
Kamene and Kibe’s controversial switch to Kiss 100 brought sparked quite a substantial controversy, with Kibe and Kamene ending up with a lawsuit from their former employer by their doorstep.
Having hosted their breakfast show for quite some time now, Kenyans have taken to social media to rate their performance compared to that of the previous veteran presenters, and from some of the posts seen by uhondo.news, many openly prefer and miss the old Shaffie and Adelle times.
In some of the views sampled below, the new show was also crticized for running low on captivating content.

Moving on from Kiss FM, Adelle last year unveiled the next step in her industrious career; a podcast series titled PursePective.
Shaffie, on the other hand, insisted he has just taken a break from radio and promised his fans he would be back in the waves soon.
