Top gospel artist Pitson has been advised by doctors to take a musical break after damaging his vocal cords.
The Lingala Ya Yesu hit-maker has been urged to avoid singing for the next two months to allow his throat rest, since he was overworking himself by regularly singing and performing in different gigs.
The singer took to social media to express his disappointment claiming that he mainly depended on music to pay his bills.
“I went to see a doctor after i was unable to sing and they said i am not going to sing for the next two months because my voice s damaged. It is a very difficult thing for me because singing is what i mainly do for a living. Staying away from the studio also sounds very boring to me,” said Pitson.
Pitson is also a talented songwriter. Some of the notable songs he has written include; Vanity by Daddy Owen, Afadhali Yesu by Size 8 and Shule Yako which was sang by Mercy Masika.
