A while ago Rich Mavoko left Wasafi Records after having differences with the management and founded his own record label. With his latest song Usizuge doing quite well at the moment, Mavoko has revealed the real reason why he left Wasafi.
During a recent interview, Mavoko revealed that Wasafi management had been preventing his music from being released after spending sleepless nights in studio.
He reveals that the issue got worse to a point that her mother had to intervene to ask why his songs were not being released even after being recorded.
That’s when Mavoko felt his music had no future if he kept on working with Wasafi Records. He then decided to quit and be his own boss.
This is what Mavoko said during the interview;
Yani nikiwa pale sikuwa naona future yangu. So nikaona isiwe tabu nikwaambia naomba kuondoka, ili nifanye vitu vyangu.
