Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo was involved in a brief exchange of words with a Facebook user over the late Mercy Keino’s details.
It all started when the former governor made a comment telling Ferdinard Waititu in no uncertain terms, to move on following his ouster on Wednesday.
Kabogo saw this comment and set the record straight with what can only be described as a perfect retort.
“ You need to ask her family. Sorry there, I’ll be of no help. May she Rest In Peace,” he said.
The ex-Kiambu governor’s reply faced swift reaction from fellow Facebook users who lauded him for the ” gentle” response.
Kabogo was accused alongside five others for the murder of University of Nairobi student Mercy Keino after she attended a party hosted by the governor and was later found killed along Waiyaki way in 2011.
He was later on in 2016 cleared of wrongdoing in the inquest into Keino’s death.
