As countries are continuing to grapple with the spread of the novel Coronavirus,5 of Africa’s 54 nations are among the last to have reported cases of the virus.
The global pandemic has been confirmed in almost every country save a handful of the far-flung tiny island states, as well as war-torn Yemen and isolated North Korea.
By April 2, it had infected 937,941 people worldwide.
In Africa, total infections were 6,803 and over 47 people have died so far.
Kenya has so far reported three recoveries, two deaths,and 110 infections.
