Outspoken Suba North (formerly Mbita) Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo has sent the internet talking following her strong advice to Kenyan women on the ever-controversial marriage topic.
In her Tuesday morning tweet, the legislator shared the picture of a cartoonized comparison on how Ugandan women respect and pamper their husbands, unlike our ladies who, if shared testimonies are anything to go by, often make homes into a living hell.
In the caption, she emphasized that women (mothers) have a vital responsibility to teach their daughters how to tend for their future husbands.
Millie, who in 2014 revealed she met her Zimbabwean husband online, went on to advise Kenyan ladies that they should not shy away from or question the God-given order to submit to their partners, adding that they should embrace that part of nature.
The tweet was made in the wake of a divorce in the Kenyan entertainment industry, with reports doing rounds that Citizen TV presenter Willis Raburu’s cheating might have led to the end of his much-publicized relationship with Mary Ngami, alias Marya Prude.
It is believed that after Marya Prude’s tragic miscarriage, the two immediately went separate ways.
Raburu’s alleged act of infidelity happened during the early days of the pregnancy.
